(AP) — KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Malaysia's health ministry has confirmed the country's second swine flu-related death.
The ministry says the a 46-year-old Malaysian man was working in Belgium but came back for a vacation with his family earlier this month. He died of pneumonia and respiratory failure Sunday after being hospitalized for a week.
The ministry said in a statement Monday that the man tested positive for the H1N1 virus.
Malaysia has reported 1,124 swine flu cases since the outbreak began in this country in May.
