ALLENTOWN, Pa. -
The severity of this year's flu season in our area has led
one Pennsylvania hospital to create a "mobile surge tent" to handle the
number of incoming flu cases.
The tent was set up at the Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.
The hospital says patients who are experiencing flu-like symptoms should still come to the emergency room.
Hospital administrators tell FOX 29's Dave Kinchen the tent will help to triage the most serious cases.
Health officials say about 3,000 people in Pennsylvania have the flu and 700 of them are in the Lehigh Valley.
