SUKHEKI (PPI): The Pneumonia disease in Sukheki town and its suburb areas is spreading due to severe cold and mostly the children suffering from it are being referred to other hospitals from the local Rural Health Center as there is no children ward or proper treatment facility in it. As per report, the children up to five year of age in large number, suffering from this disease were helpless to get medical treatment on local level. In this connection when in-charge RHC Sukheki Dr. Rashad Pervez was contacted, he said that there was no children ward and treatment facility in the health center, hence, the patients were being referred to other hospitals having proper arrangement for treatment of this chronic disease. He said the existing spell of cold was main cause of Pneumonia cases in the area and the parents should take care to save the minor children from cold.
