KATHMANDU, July 10 - Three more people have been confirmed with pandemic swine flu in Nepal, officials said on Friday.
With this, the total number of people infected with the AH1N1 influenza virus has reached nine.
The Ministry of Health said that the deadly AH1N1 virus has been found in a 75-year-old man, 21-year-old youth and 23-year-old woman. However, their identity has not been disclosed yet.
The trio have been receiving treatment under specially supervised conditions, informed the Health Ministry.
The first cases of swine flu in Nepal were detected in a 44-year-old man , his 38-year-old wife and their eight-year-old son, who arrived in Nepal from the United States via Doha on June 29.
