Yesterday, a new suspected case of bubonic plague entered the Trujillo Regional Teaching Hospital. This time it's a person around 32 years old who arrived from Cariaga sector in Chocope district in the province of Ascope.
As reported by the Regional Technical Committee Chairman Operational Pest Control, Pedro Diaz Camacho, this person has a right groin Bobon and now his health is stable. "I was in the hospital and have traveled to the area to make an inspection and have ruled out another suspect case," he said.
Cases increase
In the same vein, Diaz Camacho said that to date in La Libertad were presented 29 cases of people infected with the plague. "Of these 12 cases were confirmed, four pneumonia, two and six septicemic plague, and 17 cases are as likely," said
