Abu Dhabi: A 66-year-old Emirati man died in Germany while being hospitalised for cancer treatment (level 4). The man was infected by novel coronavirus (nCoV) confirmed the German Health Authorities on Tuesday.
The Health Authority in Abu
Dhabi confirmed that it’s coordinating with the Ministry of Health and
other authorities in the country and has taken the necessary measures as
per international standards and recommendations by the World Health
Organisation (WHO). The Authority confirmed that there are no suspected
cases of coronavirus in the emirate up to date.
The Ministry of Health also confirmed that there are no suspected cases in the UAE up to date.
The Ministry and the
Authority stated that the WHO first issued an international alert in
September 2012. T date the WHO had confirmed 16 coronavirus cases
globally.
