Hubei exports 600mn eggs a year

[4 June 2010] Hubei's Shendan Co Ltd has become the top seller of eggs in China, distributing to 6,000 supermarkets across the country with a total volume of 600 million eggs a year. The company has the biggest market share of eggs in China and the brand is well known to retailers and supermarkets such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour and Metro as it is the only egg supplier supplying to the three retail giants at the same time. Hubei province exports 600 million eggs per year, accounting for 30% of China's total exports, the province also ranks first in exports of preserved eggs and salted eggs.
