احتجز مستشفى الصدر بكفر الشيخ 8 حالات للاشتباه في إصابتهم بفيروس الإنفلونزا المستجدة، وهو سلالة جديدة متحورة من إنفلونزا الطيور، وتمَّ أخذ عيِّنات من المصابين وإرسالها إلى معامل وزارة الصحة بالقاهرة لتحليلها.
Held Chest Hospital Kafr El-Sheikh 8 cases suspected of having avian influenza virus emerging, a new mutated strain of bird flu, samples were taken from the injured and sent to the laboratories of the Ministry of Health in Cairo for analysis.
والمصابون هم: محمد منير المغازي "11 عامًا"، تلميذ بمدرسة محلة القصب الابتدائية بمركز كفر الشيخ، ومروة فاروق يوسف "20 عامًا" ربة منزل مقيمة بقرية دقلت، وشادية محمد هنداوي "40 عامًا" ربة منزل مقيمة بقرية نصرة، ونبوية البيلي يوسف "50 عامًا" ربة منزل وجيهان عبد المحسن حامد "30 عامًا" ربة منزل، ومقيمتان بمدينة بيلا، وهدى أحمد إيراهيم النجار "45 عامًا" ربة منزل مقيمة بشارع جيهان بمدينة كفر الشيخ، ووفاء السيد الفارة "40 عامًا" مقيمة بقرية كفر الطايفة، وأحمد محمد الشناوي 4 سنوات مقيم بقرية الحمراء مركز كفر الشيخ.
