Epidemiological comments - The positive case is a cow born in 1997
before the total feed ban in 2001. Result of a monitoring sample
taken at a rendering plant. In addition to the positive case, 2 other
cows have been culled. One cow from the birth cohort and one
offspring.

vaccination; No treatment of affected animals
