In connection with several cases of bird flu in China for the last time the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko instructed to strengthen preventive measures. In particular, to tighten it up, and be wary of persons arriving from China, especially with some symptoms, said «Interfax».
Also, Gennady Onishchenko said that special attention will be doctors for passengers arriving from China to Russia by air, since cases of bird flu recorded in the regions that do not border with Belarus.
Since the beginning of the year in China reported six human cases of avian influenza virus, so far known to have five deaths. All were younger than 31 years. Yesterday, 26 January, the virus killed 18-year-old boy.
