كان على جمعة مفتى الديار المصرية ذكر فى تصريحات أن الفتوى بالتأجيل لا ينبغى أن تصدر بصورة فردية وإنما بصورة جماعية بحضور فقهاء الأمة الإسلامية والتنسيق مع المجامع الفقهية المعتمدة فى العالم الإسلامى.
