HANOI, May 20 (Xinhua) -- The Vietnamese health authorities said a South Korean man from the U.S. arriving in the country has showed flu-like symptoms, the online newspaper Vietnamnet reported on Wednesday.
The man, whose age is not mentioned by the newspaper, entering Vietnam on the flight transiting in the Republic of Korea, showed higher body temperature. He was isolated and suspected of having the flu A/H1N1 virus.
The test result is not available now, said health officials.
Amid the high possibility of the flu reaching the country, Vietnamese relevant ministries, authorities in cities and provinces nationwide have been taking all-out efforts to prevent an outbreak of the A/H1N1 flu in the country
