وأشار التقرير إلى ما أعلنته منظمة الصحة العالمية نقلا عن وزارة الصحة المصرية حول اكتشاف إصابة أربع حالات جديدة مصابة بفيروس إنفلونزا الطيور خلال شهر ديسمبر الماضي أدت إلى وفاة شخصين.
