Egypt: Mountain retreat emphasizes a global crisis of swine flu

Dr Hatem el-Gabali, Minister of Health that the wave of the crisis of HIV (1 H, 1), known universally as the swine flu, have declined worldwide in the fourth and fifth weeks of the outbreak of the disease, but it is not over.

وأشار الوزير إلى أن الفيروس حتى الآن غير شرس، وإن كان من الممكن التحول إلى مرحلة الشراسة فى الخريف القادم مع انخفاض درجات الحرارة، وقد تمتد موجة أنفلونزا الخنازير من شهرين إلى ثلاثة أشهر.

The minister pointed out that the virus has so far been fierce, although it is possible to switch to a ferocity in the fall with the low temperatures, may extend a swine flu of two to three months.

جاء ذلك فى تصريحات أدلى بها الوزير خلال المنتدى الأول لدور المنظمات غير الحكومية فى مواجهة أزمة مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، والذى نظمه مركز المعلومات ودعم اتخاذ القرار بمجلس الوزراء الليلة الماضية بحضور الدكتور عبد العزيز حجازى رئيس الاتحاد العام للجمعيات الأهلية وعدد من الوزراء والدكتور ماجد عثمان رئيس مركز المعلومات.

This came in statements made by the minister during the First Forum of the role of non-governmental organizations in the face of disease, swine flu crisis, which was organized by the Center for Information and Decision Support Cabinet last night, the presence of Dr. Abdul Aziz Hijazi, head of the General Federation of NGOs and a number of ministers, Dr. Majid Othman, head of the Center for information.

وقال الوزير "إنه سيتم غدا الخميس تركيب 20 كاميرا حرارية فى المطارات المصرية ومن الممكن توفير أعداد إضافية عند الحاجة من دولة الصين".

The minister said, "It will be 20 on Thursday to install a thermal camera at Egyptian airports and could provide additional numbers as needed from the State of China."

ولفت إلى إنشاء معامل جديدة على أعلى مستوى فى أسوان وكفر الشيخ وأسيوط تضاف إلى المعامل الموجودة بالقاهرة والإسكندرية والمنيا والمعتمدة دوليا، وذلك لسرعة فحص الحالات المشتبه فيها.

He pointed to the establishment of new plants at the highest level in Kafr El-Sheikh and Aswan, Assiut, add to the existing laboratories in Cairo and Alexandria and Minya, adopted internationally, so as to speed the examination of suspected cases.

وأعلن الوزير عن تصنيع 30 مليون كمامة حتى الآن سيتم زيادتها إلى 100 مليون كمامة، مطالبا فى نفس السياق المتطوعين من الجمعيات الأهلية بتدريب الأفراد على عمل كمامات منزلية من القماش.

The minister said 30 million for the manufacture of muzzle so far will be increased to 100 million muzzle, in the same context, calling for volunteers from the NGOs to train individuals to work from home cloth masks.

كما طالب الجمعيات الأهلية بتوفير المتطوعين للعمل مع الأطقم الصحية فى الموانئ البحرية المختلفة.

He also called for NGOs to provide volunteers to work with the crew health in the different sea ports.

وطالب جمعيات المجتمع المدنى بتوعية الناس الراغبين فى أداء مناسك العمرة وأيضا أماكن التجمعات والعشوائيات ..

Student associations and civil society by educating people who want to perform Umrah as well as gathering places and slum ..

مشيرا إلى أهمية دور المتطوعين من المنظمات الأهلية فى حالة حدوث أية جائحة لتنظيم علاج المرضى فى المستشفيات وتواجدهم فى المترو والقطارات لوضع المطهرات.

He pointed to the importance of the role of volunteer-based organizations in the event of any pandemic to regulate the treatment of patients in hospitals and their presence in the metro and trains for the development of disinfectants.
