A man in Kandal province who fell ill after eating poultry has been allowed to return home, said a health ministry official Monday. "His body is free from [bird flu] virus," said Ly Sovann, deputy director of the Communicable Disease Control Department at the Ministry of Health. The man was the eighth recorded case of bird flu in Cambodia. All seven previous human cases died, said Ly Sovann, adding that the ministry will monitor the village for five more days to make sure no further bird flu cases arise |
