Egypt: Restructuring of hospitals in Alexandria to meet the avian flu and swine

[I don't know why they want to "separate them". Apparently, none of them have H5N1. They do put them all on Tamiflu initially. I guess when the results come back "negative", they must take them off it? It seems to me that 90% of the suspected cases I post, go to hospital. I hope they get results quickly, or those hospitals must be jam packed....]

The Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria, the restructuring of hospitals in the province to address the epidemic diseases, including avian influenza, swine flu, through the five major hospitals, the fevers of Alexandria, and a globe, and the figs, and Abu Qir-General, to allow the year.

وقررت المديرية تخصيص مستشفى حميات الإسكندرية لعلاج المصابين بفيروس أنفلونزا الخنازير واستقبال حالات الاشتباه المحولة من مختلف مستشفيات المحافظة، وتخصيص مستشفى صدر المعمورة لاستقبال وعلاج حالات الإصابة بفيروس أنفلونزا الطيور إلى جانب الاستعدادات الطبية والوقائية بباقى المستشفيات وفق أعداد الحالات المصابة بالفيروس.

من جانبه أوضح الدكتور هشام الدخس مدير مستشفى حميات الإسكندرية، أنه تم زيادة تشغيل وحدة المعامل بالمستشفى لتحليل عينات الإصابة بالتهاب الكبد الوبائى بأنواعه المختلفة، إضافة إلى تحليل العينات المشتبه فى إصابتها بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور.

For his part, Dr. Hisham Aldechs Alexandria hospital director admitted that it had been increased and the operation of the hospital laboratory for the analysis of samples, the incidence of hepatitis of all kinds, in addition to the analysis of samples suspected of being infected with bird flu.

وأرجع الدخس قرار الفصل بين حالات الإصابة بفيروسى أنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير لمنع اختلاط حالات الإصابة بالفيروسين، مما قد يؤدى إلى تحور الفيروس وظهور نوع جديد من الأنفلونزا.

Aldechs attributed the decision to separate the incidence of avian influenza Bverosy and pigs to prevent the mixing of the incidence of Balverosin, which may lead to virus mutation and the emergence of a new type of influenza.
