Bird flu Jangkiti Bengkulu

Thousands of birds owned by citizens of the city of Bengkulu in this week destroyed, following the outbreak of bird flu outbreaks in the area.

"We had to destroy uanggas Bengkulu City's residents indicated the bird flu, this is done so that the deadly disease does not continue to expand in the area," the mayor said Bengkulu, Ahmad Kanedi, in Bengkulu, Saturday (08/07/2010).

Until now, already 24 villages in Bengkulu City contracted the bird flu outbreak from the previous 20 wards. Village in Bengkulu City who contracted bird flu, among them the East Rim, Padang Harapan, Sawah Lebar, Well god, Bumi Ayu, Sukamerindu, Semarang, Cage Lemonade and several other villages.

Meanwhile, three new villages were affected last Friday Rawa Makmur village, and Wells Melele Pagar Dewa. Villages that this bird flu spread in seven sub districts, namely Gading Cempaka, Kampung Melayu, Sungai Serut, Muara Bangkahulu, Queen of the Supreme and District-wide and District Sea Gulf.

Nevertheless, outbreaks of bird flu continued to spread in the city of Bengkulu, but until now there has not been reported in people infected with the deadly disease. However, Bengkulu City Government urged the public to be aware of the disease threat.
