CONCORD, N.H.—The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services says an undisclosed number of people in the state have been tested for swine flu and were voluntarily quarantining themselves at home until they receive the results.
Dr. Jose Montero, public health director, said Tuesday there were no confirmed cases of swine flu in New Hampshire.
Montero said health officials continue to be in close contact with the state's 26 acute care hospitals and schools to see if they are seeing any people display symptoms of swine flu, Foster's Daily Democrat reports.
Montero said the state's Incidental Command Center at DHHS in Concord is at "Level 2," which means it is being staffed with people who can coordinate the state's response should a pandemic result.
