The Health Ministry reported Saturday that the presence of cases of three people suspected of being infected in our country with the swine flu, a disease that has left dozens of deaths in Mexico (where it originated), and that led to the World World Health Organization (WHO) to declare a state of emergency of international public health.

"There are three cases under consideration, which are in the Coyhaique Regional Hospital, the Hospital" (Charles) Van Buren "in Valparaiso, and the Chest Hospital," the minister said Alvaro Erazo.

The secretary of state said that "two of these cases have an initial negative test, an immunofluorescence with an examination which is not throwing the event corresponding to a case of H1N1," and there is a third case is still under study .

Erazo was, finally, a plea for "peace of the population," to ensure "the health services of the country are working 24 hours a day."

On the imminent arrival of the Mexican team Chivas de Guadalajara, which face Everton on Wednesday for Copa Libertadores, the owner of Health said that the players will be subjected to the same analysis of the other passengers, including passage through a scanner and measurement of body temperature, which in the case of more than 39 degrees, will transfer to a health center to conduct a medical checkup.
