Possible swine flu case reported in S. Korea

SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korea has spotted a suspected case of swine flu among its nationals who just returned from a trip to Mexico, a government official said Tuesday.

"A South Korean citizen who recently returned from a trip to Mexico has been classified as a possible swine flu patient," the official said, asking not to be identified.

Governments worldwide are struggling to stem the spread of the highly infectious virus, which has reportedly killed nearly 150 people in Mexico alone. Swine influenza causes symptoms similar to those of regular flu, such as coughing and fever.
