Six Cambodians die of human swine flu

Today 14 quarters, Cambodia has confirmed an outbreak of avian influenza outbreaks in Ponhea Kreak district, Kampong Cham province, bordering Vietnam. Outbreak was discovered a week after a 13-year-old girls in the province died of bird flu.

Cambodian government on Friday reported a total of 550 cases of A/H1N1 flu with six deaths.

As of Jan. 7, six Cambodians have died of A/H1N1 epidemic and the total cases have risen to 550, Ministry of Health said on the government website.

Thirteen out of the 25 provinces across the country have found infection cases.
