قرر اللواء محافظ الغربية عبد الحميد الشناوى إقالة الدكتور محمد عادل النعناعي مدير مستشفى الصدر بالمحلة الكبرى وتعيين الدكتور على الشافعى وكيل المستشفى بدلا منه .جاء قرار الإقالة بسبب تأخر الدكتور النعناعي فى الإبلاغ عن وفاة سيدة
