BIRD FLU CASE NOT outbreaks in East Lombok East Lombok, 23/10

(AFP) - Cases of bird flu found in East Lombok regency, West Nusa Tenggara is still not considered a case of Extraordinary Events (KLB), despite a chicken or fowl owned by citizens of bird flu positive by rapid test.

Therefore, should the community in East Lombok asked to remain alert to the possibilities that occur later on, so that cases of bird flu from spreading to other districts in East Lombok regencies.
"Cases of bird flu in East Lombok is still in its early stages is normal, with no increase in the number of cases that can not be defined as an outbreak," said Head of Animal Husbandry and Agricultural East Lombok, Khalid L Tarmizi.
He asserted that the three districts where chickens owned by residents discovered that died suddenly in the districts of East Lombok regency Montong Ivory, Aikmel and Labuan Haji.
Two sub-districts such as Ivory and Aikmel Montong been confirmed positive for bird flu, based on rapid test results (rapid test) conducted by the officer handling the bird flu East Lombok regencies.

Head of Public Relations and Protocol East Lombok regency government, Iswan Rakhmadi asked all communities in East Lombok, to always be vigilant and make early detection of various symptoms of bird flu cases.
With a report to the relevant department if there is found the chicken or poultry owned by residents who died suddenly, the order can be handled properly as soon as possible cases of bird flu problem.
