احتجزت مستشفيات حميات الغربية والشرقية، 17 حالة يشتبه فى إصابتهم بأنفلونزا الطيور، كما تم إعدام آلاف الدجاج والكتاكيت فى محافظة سوهاج، وأيضاً فى مطار القاهرة، ضمن إجراءات السيطرة على مرض أنفلونزا الطيور.
