وتم على الفور استدعاء فريق من الطب البيطرى الذى بادر بأخذ عينات من الطيور النافقة، وأرسلها إلى معامل وزارة الصحة والتى جاءت إيجابية، ومن ثم تم أخذ عينات من ثمانية حالات من المخالطين للطيور النافقة وإرسالها إلى المعامل والتى أكدت سلبية الحالات للمرض.
