CONTINUE INCREASING CASES OF INFLUENZA A IN THE PROVINCE OF SANTA FE

The Ministry of Health informed that in our province they have been notified - until the moment 403 suspicious cases of A influenza (H1N1), of which 34 are positive, 37 with negative results of laboratory and 332 are in study, between which count 40 confirmed by private laboratories that must be validated by the Malbrán institute.

Thus it indicates the report epidemiologist emitted by the Room of Situation of the Plan of Contingency of the Ministry of provincial Health, that slogan that “the 403 suspicious cases, are distributed geographically according to place of residence of the people, and correspond - by regions: 300 to the one of Rosary; 84 to Santa Fe; 13 to One-eyed Deer; 2 to Rafaela; 2 to Recapture (one deceased in Buenos Aires); and the rest a boy who presented/displayed symptoms during his permanence in the city of Rosary of another province”.

The cases confirmed by the Malbrán until the moment are 34. One is people whose ages go of the 2 to 41 years. 50% correspond to minors of 20 years and 27 of them are domiciled in the region Rosary, 3 in the one of Santa Fe, 2 in the one of One-eyed Deer (Rufino) and 2 in the one of Recapture.

In relation to the results, to date 37 negative studies have been received that correspond to the cities of Rafaela (1), Santa Fe (5), Rosary (29) and One-eyed Deer (2), being 332 slopes, in study, including the 40 positives of samples analyzed in private laboratories that must be validated.

Also, the report epidemiologist contains the registry of situation of 157 scholastic establishments, as much officials as prevailed, of who 87 had to totally close their doors and other 70 in partial form (courses - rooms) like part of the designed strategies of containment in the Plan of Contingency.

As we informed in our edition into yesterday, in our city, they are the five closed schools totally for this reason and 18 those have done that it of partial way, only in the degrees or salitas where the suspicious cases were notified.

The analyses, in Rosary

The minister of Health, Miguel Cappiello Angel, announced that as of the next Monday the studies of the samples of Gripe A (H1N1) corresponding to the province of Santa Fe will be realised in center of Ambulatory Medical Specialties of Rosary (Cemar), which will allow to obtain the results in few hours.

He said that this was possible “thanks to the received qualification of professionals in the National Institute Malbrán and the acquisition of the equipment necessary to develop the well-known technique like Real PCR Time”, that demanded to the provincial State an investment of 33,000 dollars”.
