Vietnam's second bf outbreak in Dien Bien province

(Inspector) - Dien Bien province recently announced decision of avian influenza (H5N1) in the commune Do Luong (Dien Bien). This is the 2nd local service after notice announced a decision at Yen Thanh commune (also at Dien Bien district) occurred from 21/5.


Avian influenza in team 1 and 2 of the Do Luong commune happened on 5/29/2012. So far, over 1,000 birds have been infected, have been discovered and destroyed the organization.
Ms. Cao Thi Tuyet Lan, Department Head of the Veterinary Department of Dien Bien said: All the infected poultry has been the authorities, local government and the livestock owners promptly detected and destroyed quick, and correct technical process. At Yen Thanh commune, in the past 10 days did not detect expression of poultry diseases. However, the anti-epidemic is having some difficulties, such as livestock owners for fear of economic loss, should not inform the veterinary offices and local authorities.
