As RIA «News», ornitoz - acute infectious disease that is accompanied by severe pneumonia, is characterized by
fever, general intoxication, and the defeat of the lungs and central nervous system. In heavy and medium forms
ornitoza recuperation occurs only in 2-3 months. Disease is chlamydia, a source of infection
are domestic and wild birds. Infection occurs in most cases, air-dust way - by inhalation of dust containing
chlamydia effective vaccine for the prevention ornitoza does not exist.

According to Rospotrebnadzor, only the last two months in the Kurgan region of Orenburg and doctors recorded
ornitozom outbreak of disease. «The infection was detected almost forty people, all of them acquired the disease before the ornamental
parrots and kanareek, illegal major party which was seized in the points on the Russian-Kazakh section of the State
border of the Russian Federation », - the representative of Rospotrebnadzor.
