Rospotrebnadzor - the need to promote the prevention of avian influenza

Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko sent a letter to the regions on the epidemiology of influenza in the world, and particularly in Russia. As reported in this document, published on the website of Rospotrebnadzor, in 2009 the World Health Organization (WHO) has recorded three cases of bird flu in China. Since 2003, observed 399 confirmed cases of the disease.
