Sunan Bonang Cemestery belived as a holy place, the cemetery is visited by pilgrims from the whole country.

Tuban today is a small, sleepy town on East Java's north coast, about 90 kilometres west of Surabaya. Four hundred years ago, however, it was one of the island's principal seaports, active in the spice trade and supporting a large population of foreign merchants.

Tuban is located in a coastal and mountainous land surface, with its total area of 183,902.29 Ha, by 1,007,986 people, with the average population density 545 person/ km2. The number of the population increases 1,15%/year.

The north coastal part of Tuban is very potential for its fishery product, especially Banjar Subdistrict which is now provided with the fish landing port supported by the European Economic Society.

Compared to the southern part of the district, the middle part is considerably mountainous and infertile, so it is suitable for industrial estate.

Almost all of the parts of Tuban occupy the land surface about 25-100 m above the sea level (75.683 Ha/40,72%). 47,543 Ha (25,58%) of the total area occupies 100 m and more whereas the rest belongs to a coastal area which is about 65 km stretching from the east to the west. In the south part, especially along the river bank of Bengawan Solo is relatively fertile and considerably as rice stock place for Tuban.

Awakening from the quiet and gentle sleep of village life, South Kuta (often referred to as Tuban) is now Bali's all encompassing family destination. South Kuta still retains the charm of village life - with two main Hindu temples and traditional ceremonies galore, - yet it has every amenity to satisfy the most discerning traveler.
