A major health response is underway after a group of 60 people on a flight from Japan arrived at Auckland Airport with flu-like symptoms.
Air New Zealand said the people were among 274 passengers that arrived on flight NZ90 from Narita, Tokyo this morning.
They were on board a Boeing 777-200.
Auckland Regional Public Health Service had been notified, in line with public health procedures, the airline said.
An Auckland Regional Public Health service spokeswoman said the Medical Officer of Health had been sent to the airport to assess the situation. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/business/news/article.cfm?c_id=3&objectid=10785237
