Bird flu spreads to Bolmong

Bolmong Today - After the bird flu virus previously only found in the region Kotamobagu, but this time the H5N1 virus, began to enter the territory adjacent to the Kotamobagu Bolmong. It was announced by Head of Department of Agriculture and Livestock (Distanak) Bolmong Channy Wajong Ir Hj.

According to him, with the bird flu virus spread information, the institute through a team formed to comb straight District 12 in Bolmong.

"From that team, about 30 birds in the village of South Tanoyan, District Lolayan, destroyed," said Wajong.

Culling of poultry were also determined, said Wajong, because before about approximately 20 chickens in the village of South Tanoyan sudden death.

Meanwhile, Team Leader Survellen AI Bolmong Kingdom, DVM Insani Muhammad, said it had sent samples of the virus found in Kotamobagu to be examined at the Veterinary Institute in Maros and Jakarta to do laboratory tests.

"We're just waiting for the results of examination of samples of viruses sent it," he explained
