Vietnam-Many emerging-disease risk

(NLD) - At the scientific meeting national infectious diseases held on 16-9 in Hanoi, Dr. Nguyen Van Kinh, director of Tropical Disease Hospital Central, said in the past decade many simultaneous appearance emerging diseases and re-emerged.


In Vietnam has recorded nine emerging diseases like SARS, avian influenza A/H5N1 in humans, H1N1, caused by streptococcal disease in pigs, hand, foot and mouth disease, rubella, and many re-emerged ... as dengue blood, malaria, parasitic diseases, viral hepatitis cholera, meningitis, measles ... of concern is that a pandemic of dangerous disease is strongly virulent new virus, the high mortality rate (H5N1 , SARS) is still unknown source of infection.
