Dimapur: The Deputy Commissioner of Dimapur has reiterated the ban imposed on poultry and poultry products. The administration repeated its earlier notification on the ban imposed on the sale of poultry and related products, in view of the outbreak of the dreaded avian influenza in neighboring Assam state. An official notification from Deputy Commissioner Maongwati Aier was received here today. Further, all commercial poultry farmers in Dimapur district are directed to register in the office of the District Veterinary Office immediately.
