The examination was conducted at Hokkaido University, influenza A virus was not isolated. In addition, mortality of wild birds such as through monitoring of local focus has not been confirmed. Therefore, bird monitoring priority areas that are currently set to release at 14 days.

- Whooper swan feather recovered the bodies of 2 (26 December).
- Prove a negative rapid test was conducted on January 26.
- On January 04 (Germany), genetic testing was conducted at NIES, and found positive for 羽中 two birds.
- 4 days, specified in the monitoring priority areas within the 10km bird near the epicenter.
- 6 days, start testing in Hokkaido confirmed
- 10 days, test results revealed the plans. Inspection is completed.
