Eastern 21 homes were upper respiratory tract infection

Center for Health Protection yesterday confirmed that an Eastern homes for the elderly outbreak of upper respiratory tract infection involving 21 people. Patients, including 18 residents and 3 staff were 14 men and 7 women, aged between 25-96 years old, from Nov. 15 to Dec. 7 period, the upper respiratory tract infection symptoms, including fever, cough , Runny nose and sore throat. Of which 18 were homes to visit a doctor or clinic for treatment, 3 were admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Hospital, 1 have been discharged. All the patients were in stable condition.
