Egypt: Report on Readiness for Summit in Sharm el-Sheikh this week

أكد تقرير غرفة العمليات المركزية بمركز معلومات مجلس الوزراء الصادر اليوم الاثنين، أنه تم الاستعداد بشكل جيد لقمة عدم الانحياز التى تنعقد فى شرم شيخ الأسبوع الجارى، والذى يحضره وفود من 140 دولة، تحسباً لظهور أى حالات مشتبه فى إصابتها بأنفلونزا الخنازير.

According to a report by the central operations room status information of the Council of Ministers on Monday that it had been well prepared for the Non-Aligned summit held in Sharm el-Sheikh this week, which was attended by delegations from 140 countries, in anticipation of the emergence of any suspected cases of bird flu in pigs.

وأشار التقرير إلى أنه تم نشر كاميرات لمتابعة درجة حرارة القادمين بكافة منافذ شرم الشيخ وعلى أبواب قاعة المؤتمر الرئيسية، كما تم تدريب الأطباء الموجودين بكافة فنادق شرم الشيخ على كيفية التعامل مع أى حالات مشتبه فى إصابتها بالفيروس.

The report pointed out that the cameras have been deployed to follow up the next temperature in all outlets of Sharm el-Sheikh and at the gates of the main conference room, as doctors who were trained in all hotels of Sharm el-Sheikh on how to deal with any cases of suspected of being infected with the virus.

وأضاف التقرير أنه تم توفير سيارات الإسعاف و150 طبيباً من كافة التخصصات، بجانب توفير معمل أنفلونزا بمستشفى شرم الشيخ الدولى، وقامت وزارة الصحة بتوزيع حقيبة على ضيوف المؤتمر تضم مواد مطهرة وكتيباً بأربعة لغات هى الإنجليزية والفرنسية والأسبانية والعربية يتضمن معلومات عن المرض وإرشادات صحية للتعامل معه.

The report added that the provision of ambulances and 150 doctors from all disciplines, as well as the provision of laboratory influenza Sharm el-Sheikh International Hospital, The Ministry of Health to distribute to the guests of the bag with disinfectant materials and a booklet of four languages, namely English, French, Spanish, Arabic, containing information about the disease and health guidance to deal with it.

ومن ناحية أخرى، نفت غرفة العمليات ما نشر على أحد المواقع الإلكترونية نقلاً عن دراسة أمريكية، تفيد أن البدناء أكثر عرضة للإصابة بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وأكدت وزارة الصحة أن البدناء ليسوا أكثر عرضة للإصابة بالمرض، إلا أنهم قد يكونوا مهيئين أكثر من غيرهم لحدوث مضاعفات لديهم حال إصابتهم بالمرض.
