Girl who died in plane had taken medicine for the flu, says aunt Jacqueline Streets became ill during a trip to Disney, USA

The girl's aunt Jacqueline Streets, Peace Magda Santos, 39 years, said this Sunday, in Guarulhos, that girl would have been preventive medical in the United States with the drug Tamiflu, indicated for patients infected with the virus Influenza A (H1N1).

She brought in his baggage several boxes of medicines, including the Tamiflu. According to the Secretariat of Public Security (SSP), the newsletter of the occurrence, in addition to Tamiflu, were recorded the names of medicines Syrup (syrup), Motrin (anti-inflammatory), Tylenol, azithromycin, antacids, analgesics and antibiotics.

Investigations made by the Legal Medical Institute (IML) of Guarulhos, where the body of the young Jacqueline Street was taken, confirmed the cause of death being pneumonia. Other complementary tests should be ready in 30 days, according to SSP.

Jacqueline died in the early hours of Sunday after going badly in a plane that the flight was coming from Panama to the Cumbica airport in Guarulhos, in Greater São Paulo. The couple returned from a trip to the amusement parks of Disney, in Orlando, USA.

According to the aunt, Jacqueline went to Brazil for two weeks in perfect condition of health, but began to go wrong in last Wednesday.

In the fourth the girl seemed very scared. She was treated at a hospital in Orlando and according to the aunt the doctors diagnosed a viral infection. The doctor who examined the body at the Medical Legal Institute of Guarulhos said that girl was suffering from septic shock.

The girl spoke with the family last Saturday.

- Yesterday, it was with a normal voice, but was upset because she was sick. We were until morning, 15 years - said.

The fact that Aunt Jacqueline was very active:

- She was a very healthy girl, great student and intelligent.

The family wants more details about the death.

- We want to stop this pain and want to know what happened. We will investigate this - said the aunt.

The funeral of Jacqueline will be held this Monday, in the Cemetery of Tears, in São Caetano.

Around 4h30min, the surgeon Irineu Raseira Júnior, 41 years, heard of a stewardess asked to aid passengers with knowledge of first-aid kit.
