A 12-year-old girl was hospitalized in serious condition in the Schneider Hospital in Petah Tikva and authorities fear that she has the H1N1 swine flu virus.
The girl, who suffers from chronic illnesses, was treated with the Tamiflu medication and other anti-flu vaccines and released home last week, but then suffered a cardiac arrest.
She was brought back to the hospital and treated in the intensive care unit.
Two people have died of the disease in Israel in the past week and health authorities fear that up to 700 Israelis may die of swine flu or related complications over the coming winter.
