In 2008, organization CARE International in Viet Nam implement projects to improve the control and prevent avian influenza in 8 communes of Yen Phu My Cu and Hung Yen, Phu district in which Cu 4 communes including Quang Hung, Cao Dinh, Doan Dao, Phan Tong; 4 communes of Yen My district includes Than Dong, Yen Hoa, Phu Yen Yen and towns in America. According to the plan, in the 3rd year projects have been implemented in 4 communes, towns in the district of Kim Dong commune of Nghia, Toan Thang, Pham Ngu Lao and towns Luong Bang, the total 12 communes in the province are participating in the project.
In the province to join the project, farms, veterinary officials, consumers are training methods and monitoring to prevent and control avian influenza; guide people poultry raising measures raising biological safety; guide business opportunities, consumer products influenza ensure hygiene, and safety.
In addition, CARE organized in collaboration with industry professionals, local government propaganda measures to prevent and control avian influenza in various forms such as in leaflets, propaganda on the radio system, the theater in primary products in order to improve the efficiency of communications to prevent and control avian influenza in the community.
