WHO received in Beijing and the avian flu virus causing deaths circular

World Health Organization on the 7th release the latest outbreak of bird flu reported that China's Ministry of Health on the 6th to the organization informed the emergence of a case in Beijing, China H5N1 avian influenza virus to cause death cases, WHO has been invited to do a good job in providing technical assistance preparation.

WHO said that any case of H5N1 avian influenza virus infections in human beings will be cause for concern, but in poultry slaughtering and preparation of cases that occurred will not change the avian influenza virus causing human flu pandemic risk assessment results, the current the risk is still in the third phase (the initial stage), that is a new virus caused human infections, but the virus spread from person to person is not easy.

The latest WHO data show that since 2003, H5N1 avian influenza since the disease re-emergence, the world has diagnosed 392 cases of human infection with bird flu, in which 248 people died. In China, there were 31 cases of human infection with bird flu, of which 21 people died. (Reporter杨伶)
