مازالت حالات الاشتباه لمرضي إنفلونزا الطيور تتوالي علي مستشفي الحميات والصدر بكفر الشيخ بأعداد كبيرة بصفة يومية, حيث تم إحتجاز11 حالة جديدة للاشتباه في إصابتها بهذا المرض بواقع8 حالات بمستشفي الحميات و3 حالات بمستشفي الصدر وذلك بعد شعورها بآلام شديدة في العظام وارتفاع في درجة الحرارة وسعال دائم ورشح من الأنف وضيق في التنفس حيث تم علي الفور حجزهم في الجناح المخصص لهذه الحالات بالمستشفي فهم صباح وحيد محمد(17 سنة) وخلود رضا السعيد(3 أشهر) وهبة الشناوي محمد(19 سنة) وسناء حمدان عبدالسلام(39 سنة) وعلي محمد عبود(37 سنة) وفايزة أحمد السنهوري(24 سنة) وهاجر محمد عبد العزيز( عامين) وشقيقها أشرف(4 سنوات) وذلك بمستشفي الحميات وتم علي الفور الحصول علي عينة من دمائهم ومسحة حلق وإرسالها الي المعامل المركزية التابعة لوزارة الصحة بالقاهرة لتحليلها للتأكد من مدي إصابتهم بهذا المرض.
