H5N1 flu spreads 7 PROVINCE IN VIETNAM

September 18, 2012 General News - Avian flu spreads to seven provinces in northern and central Vietnam. By the end of today has 7 provinces to develop the H5N1 flu outbreak in poultry. According to experts Epidemiology, Vietnam confirmed the spread of the H5N1 virus in a new division, stronger pathogenic H5N1 familiar in Vietnam. This highly pathogenic virus is endemic in the central and northern Vietnam. Vaccine for poultry that Vietnam is not work with the new strain of branching. In Tuyen Quang province more than 17,000 birds have been culled to prevent spread. Earlier on August 10 only a social but so far it has spread to nine villages in Son Duong district and Tuyen Quang cities. Seven provinces are H5N1 avian influenza include, Tuyen Quang and Hoa Binh, Quang Ngai, Bac, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh, Ha Tinh. The months of the year, Vietnam's health sector confirmed four cases of patients infected with the H5N1 avian influenza virus, of which two died. All four cases were infected older H5N1 strains circulating in southern Vietnam.
