Luxembourg remains free of bird flu

Luxembourg's Ministry of Agriculture, Viticulture and Rural Development has issued a statement on the current status of bird flu in the Grand Duchy.

The season for migrating birds over Luxembourg normally lasts until early December and, for this reason, the Luxembourg authorities continue to carry out tests on dead birds and live poultry.

Just six dead birds have been found and samples were tested, all of which were negative. Therefore, Luxembourg still remains free of bird flu.

In case of queries or to report dead birds, the Luxembourg Veterinary services Administration can be contacted at tel: 2478-2539 and 2478-3533.
