Exports not hit by bird flu
Thailand's chicken exports are expected to experience minimal impact from the latest outbreak of of bird flu since it was brought under control quickly, local exporters said.

Malaysia for the time being stopped the import of the chicken from Thailand because of the concern in the case of bird flu in his neighbouring country in South-East Asia, according to the Malaysian daily, on Saturday (15/11). Agriculture Minister Musatapa Mohamed said the seizing that will be pulled out if the situation in Thailand came back was normal.
The "operation to prevent the smuggling" of the "chicken in the border territory being increased," said Mustapa as being quoted from the New Straits Times daily. On Thursday, Thailand confirmed the case of bird flu both of them in one week, while saying that the virus was detected in the area of rural areas in north Bangkok. That was the fourth case from the deadly virus in Thailand for the last 10 months.
The virus H5N1 killed 17 people in Thailand since 2003 and 245 people totally all over the world from 387 cases that it was confirmed according to the Organisation of the Health of the World (WHO). The virus attacked the livestock in some of Asia. The scientist alarmed that the virus H5N1 could bermutasi became the form that could spread easily between humankind and killed millions of people.
