Toddlers 11 Months Exposed to Bird Flu

Mataram: Provincial General Hospital Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, caring for two patients suspect bird flu on Saturday (15/10) afternoon. One of them even an eleven-month-old toddlers.

Both patients were treated after being taken from Praya Hospital, Central Lombok. Two patients were MA and eleven months old. While one other person, the initials IS and 53-year-old. Both were treated pascaterkontaminasi poultry that died suddenly.

A week ago, the poultry in the village of Semayan and five villages in the District Garata Pring, died suddenly. The death of these birds, believed to have contracted the H5N1 virus. However, local residents dead birds only made it into the river or landfills .
