أعلن الدكتور عبد الرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمى لوزارة الصحة عن اكتشاف 5 حالات إصابة جديدة بفيروس AH1N1 المعروف بأنفلونزا الخنازير لترتفع حالات الإصابة بالفيروس إلى 39 حالة. وأضاف شاهين أن الحالة رقم 35 لطفلة مصرية الجنسية تبلغ من العمر 6 سنوات وكانت قادمة من أمريكا ووصلت مطار القاهرة الدولى يوم 19 من الشهر الجارى وتم تحويلها إلى مستشفى بالقاهرة أمس، حيث تم إعطاؤها العلاج المناسب وحالتها الصحية مستقرة.
