Egypt: Suspicion of swine flu in Damanhour (the Lake)

Damanhour hospital has admitted the detention of a young man on suspicion of swine flu, after the emergence of symptoms of the disease.

تلقى اللواء مجدى أبو قمر مدير أمن البحيرة إخطاراً من مستشفى حميات دمنهور، يفيد باحتجاز عادل ممدوح عبد الرازق (31 سنة) وهو محامٍ مقيم بالحدائق بشارع المحكم بكفر الدوار.

تم اكتشاف الحالة عقب دخوله مستشفى كفر الدوار العام، بعد معاناته من ارتفاع شديد فى درجة الحرارة، وظهور أعراض مشابهة لأعراض أنفلونزا الطيور.

تم تحويل المريض لمستشفى حميات دمنهور التى قامت بعزله وإعطائه جرعة من عقار "التاميفلو"، وأخذ عينة دم ومسحة حلق منه لتحليلها وبيان مدى إصابته بالمرض.
